Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a student-led organisation which aims at identifying
opportunities in the social arena to initiate projects that benefit
society. The members are graduate and undergraduate
students, interested in social entrepreneurship and seeking to
create value with their expertises.
At UCL, SIFE is building a network throughout all departments
to engage the academic and research community in social entrepreneurial activities. It is also continuously looking for partners outside the university to cooperate on social entrepreneurial projects.
SIFE UCL operates under the umbrella of the UCL Enterprise Society. It is supervised by business advisors (e.g. PwC, KPMG) and two academic advisors: Muki Haklay ("Mapping for Change") and John Braime (VSU).
