A student of Urban Planning at UCL and newly appointed project manager for the Enterprise Society, Bianca Griffith moved to the UK a year ago having previously studied in France, the USA, Senegal and Brazil. She is passionate about innovation and sustainability in developing countries. In 2008, she founded Sante Natural (www.santenatural.org ) a charity which works on sustainable development, health, and social entrepreneurship programs in West Africa. In 2010, she became part-owner and manager for Nemasu eco-lodge in the Gambia which aims to serve as a demonstration site for the implementation of local green technologies and sustainable building methods.

Currently, she continues her work as president of Sante Natural and is organising a conference in April of 2012 on sustainable development, eco-design & building, and green technology in the Gambia. The conference aims to create partnerships and a cross fertilization of ideas, resources and expertise among Gambian and international participants. As a member of the enterprise society team she is interested in promoting key business skills training for students and creating a strong entrepreneurial and innovative community at UCL.
