As Co-Chair for the 2012 CleanTech Challenge, Tristan is working with a University College London and London Business School student team to manage this successful competition for cleantech entrepreneurs. Additionally as one of the Vice Presidents of the UCL Enterprise Society he wishes to encourage research student engagement and support entrepreneurial student activities. He has participated in numerous business planning competitions and was a member of winning teams in both the London E-Challenge (UCL) and enfinite Challenge (ICL).

Tristan is working towards his Doctorate in Biochemical Engineering, the focus of which is the design of a novel bioreactor for stem cell culture & novel methods for stem cell differentiation. He previously completed his undergraduate & master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering at University College London. Tristan went on to work in varied roles in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry including positions at The Veterinary Laboratory Agency, Isolagen Ltd, Jacobs Engineering, and GlaxoSmithKline. Tristan is now involved with his own and another student led start-up (ww.zooza.co.uk).
